My Story
Hi, I'm Shelby Winkle!
When I joined Scentsy eleven years ago, it was to support my Scentsy addiction and bring in a little extra money for my hubby and I as newlyweds. About a year after I joined, we had twin daughters and we went through a terrible tragedy of losing our first daughter, Samantha, shortly after birth. Our survivor, Sawyer, was diagnosed with sever brain damage, went through multiple surgeries and was extremely pre-mature. We spent many months in the NICU and our lives were forever changed.
I was very thankful to be on a wonderful Scentsy team that helped me keep my business running while we were in the hospital and when I realized I was never returning to my full-time job as a hairstylist, they encouraged me to set goals and work my business around Sawyer's therapy and doctor appointments. I'm happy I listened to them!
My Scentsy business has not only brought positivity back into my life but I have reconnected with old friends, some who are on my team, many who are customers, and I've made some of my most treasured friendships with my Scentsy sisters and families! I think the greatest joy that my business has brought me was earning my second incentive trip, an 8 day Mediterranean cruise for my husband and I in June, 2018! It has always been my husband's dream to go to Italy and having him thank me for making it happen made it worth every minute of work!!
We have since added to our family with our little sour patch boy, Judd, and because I took the leap eleven years ago, I'm able to work from home, homeschool my kids and have the flexibility to raise my kid's how we want!
